Not even out of the gate and I just received an email saying our Saturday Joint Security Area (DMZ border with the North) tour has been cancelled. The issue has something to do with African Swine Fever. These tours, run by a few contractors for the US Army, are rather tightly controlled and filled with notices about proper attire, ID requirements, assumed risk, etc. Anyway, I was really looking forward to this one, but I know we’ll find something to do with the time and next year, for sure, I’m getting that ASF shot.
